These Easy Oreo Truffles are rich, creamy, and irresistibly chocolatey—perfect for parties, holidays, or sweet gifts. Made with just 3 ingredients and no baking required, they’re a crowd-favorite dessert that’s fun to make and easy to customize with seasonal decorations!
36 Oreo cookies (1 standard package)
8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
12 oz (340g) semi-sweet or white chocolate, melted
Optional toppings:
Pastel candy melts
Easter-themed sprinkles
Edible glitter
Mini candy eggs
Crush the Oreos: In a food processor, pulse the Oreos (including filling) into fine crumbs. Alternatively, place them in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin.
Mix with cream cheese: In a bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese. Mix until a smooth, dough-like mixture forms.
Form the truffles: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 15–20 minutes.
Melt the chocolate: Microwave the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring until fully melted and smooth.
Dip the truffles: Use a fork or dipping tool to coat each chilled ball in chocolate. Tap off excess and return to the parchment-lined tray.
Decorate: While chocolate is still wet, top with sprinkles, mini eggs, or decorative drizzle.
Chill to set: Refrigerate the truffles for at least 30 minutes, or until the coating is firm.
Serve or store: Enjoy chilled or at room temperature. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 2 months.
Use full-fat cream cheese for best consistency.
Work in batches—keep some truffles chilled while dipping others.
Use pastel-colored melts and Easter sprinkles for a seasonal twist.
Great for make-ahead gifts and party platters!
