This creamy Caprese pasta salad is the ultimate quick and easy food for a crowd. Made with fresh cherry tomatoes, mozzarella pearls, and basil tossed in a tangy dressing, it’s perfect for summer BBQs, bridal showers, and poolside parties.
Ingredients

12 oz fettuccini pasta (or rotini, penne, or farfalle)

1 cup cherry or grape tomatoes, halved

8 oz mozzarella pearls (or cubed fresh mozzarella)

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, sliced into ribbons

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon white wine vinegar or lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions
1. Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water. Let cool completely.
2. Prepare the Dressing
In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream or Greek yogurt, olive oil, vinegar or lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
3. Assemble the Salad
In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta, tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. Pour the dressing over and toss gently to coat.
4. Chill and Serve
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Before serving, toss gently and garnish with extra basil or a balsamic drizzle if desired.
