Ingredients

Scale

Basic Ingredients:

  • 6 large dill pickles (whole, not sliced)
  • 6 slices deli ham or turkey (thinly sliced)
  • 4 oz (113g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder (optional)

Optional Add-Ons:

  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika for a smoky flavor
  • ½ teaspoon everything bagel seasoning for extra crunch
  • Chopped fresh dill for a fresh herbal kick

Instructions

  • Prepare the Pickles: Pat the pickles dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

  • Spread the Cream Cheese: Mix softened cream cheese with garlic powder and onion powder for extra flavor. Spread a thin, even layer of cream cheese over each slice of deli meat.

  • Assemble the Rolls: Place a dry pickle on one end of the cream cheese-covered meat. Roll the meat around the pickle tightly.

  • Chill (Optional, But Recommended): Place rolls in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to firm up.

  • Slice and Serve: Use a sharp knife to slice each roll into bite-sized pieces. Secure with toothpicks if serving as an appetizer.

Notes

  • Pat the pickles dry to prevent excess moisture.
  • Use chilled deli meat for easier rolling.

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
