Ingredients

    • 24 large marshmallows
    • 8 ounces orange candy melts
    • 8 ounces black or green candy melts
    • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening (optional, for thinning)
    • Halloween-themed sprinkles or candy eyes
    • Lollipop sticks or paper straws
    • Wax paper or parchment paper

  • Optional Add-Ons:
  • White chocolate or colored candy melts for drizzling
  • Black writing gel for faces
  • Crushed Oreos or graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. Insert one lollipop stick or straw into each marshmallow and set aside.
  2. Melt candy melts in separate microwave-safe bowls according to package directions. Stir in coconut oil if needed to thin.
  3. Dip each marshmallow into candy coating and rotate to coat evenly. Tap off excess.
  4. Add sprinkles, eyes, or crumbs before coating sets. Get creative with ghosts, pumpkins, mummies, or Frankenstein designs.
  5. Place dipped marshmallows on wax paper or stand upright in a foam block to set (10–15 minutes).
  6. Once set, optionally decorate with writing gel or drizzled chocolate. Let dry completely before serving or packaging.

Notes

  • Use fresh marshmallows for best structure and texture.
  • Thinning candy melts helps achieve smoother coating.
  • Decorate quickly—candy coating sets fast!
  • Wrap pops in cellophane with ribbon for gifting or party favors.
  • Best stored at room temperature in an airtight container for 3–5 days.
