This no-bake Dirt Dessert is a creamy, chocolatey treat made with layers of crushed Oreos, rich pudding, and fluffy whipped topping. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or just a fun, family-friendly dessert!

Ingredients

  • 1 (14.3 oz) package Oreo cookies

  • 2 (3.9 oz) boxes instant chocolate pudding mix

  • 3½ cups cold milk

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

  • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed

  • Gummy worms (optional, for garnish)

  • Additional Oreos for topping (optional)

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or place in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin. Set aside.

  • In a large bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes. Set aside to thicken.

  • In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.

  • Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.

  • Add the prepared pudding to the cream cheese mixture and mix gently until smooth.

  • In a 9×13-inch dish or clear cups, layer crushed Oreos, then pudding mixture. Repeat layers, finishing with a thick layer of Oreo crumbs on top.

  • Garnish with gummy worms or extra cookies if desired.

  • Cover and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

To make ahead, prepare the dessert a day in advance and refrigerate. For best results, add gummy worms or decorative toppings just before serving to maintain texture. You can also use homemade whipped cream (1½ cups whipped with sugar) instead of Cool Whip.
