This no-bake Dirt Dessert is a creamy, chocolatey treat made with layers of crushed Oreos, rich pudding, and fluffy whipped topping. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or just a fun, family-friendly dessert!
1 (14.3 oz) package Oreo cookies
2 (3.9 oz) boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
3½ cups cold milk
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
Gummy worms (optional, for garnish)
Additional Oreos for topping (optional)
Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or place in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin. Set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes. Set aside to thicken.
In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
Add the prepared pudding to the cream cheese mixture and mix gently until smooth.
In a 9×13-inch dish or clear cups, layer crushed Oreos, then pudding mixture. Repeat layers, finishing with a thick layer of Oreo crumbs on top.
Garnish with gummy worms or extra cookies if desired.
Cover and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
To make ahead, prepare the dessert a day in advance and refrigerate. For best results, add gummy worms or decorative toppings just before serving to maintain texture. You can also use homemade whipped cream (1½ cups whipped with sugar) instead of Cool Whip.
