Description

Crispy on the outside and gooey inside, these Air Fryer Apple Pie Bombs are made with biscuit dough and sweet apple pie filling, finished with butter and cinnamon sugar for the ultimate fall treat. Quick, easy, and ready in under 20 minutes!

Ingredients

✅ 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
✅ 1 cup canned apple pie filling (chopped into small pieces)
✅ ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
✅ 1 tablespoon apple pie spice (or mix of cinnamon and nutmeg)
✅ 4 tablespoons (60g) melted butter
✅ Optional: caramel sauce or vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

1️⃣ Chop the Filling:
Chop apple pie filling into smaller pieces for easier sealing. Set aside.

2️⃣ Fill and Seal Dough:
Separate biscuit dough. Flatten each biscuit, spoon 1 tbsp filling into the center, and pinch edges to seal into a ball.

3️⃣ Air Fry the Bombs:
Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Place bombs seam-side down in the basket. Air fry for 7–9 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.

4️⃣ Coat with Cinnamon Sugar:
Mix granulated sugar and apple pie spice in a bowl. Brush warm bombs with melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar to coat.

5️⃣ Serve Warm:
Enjoy immediately as-is or serve with caramel sauce or ice cream for extra indulgence.

Notes

  • Do not overfill or underseal the bombs to prevent leaking.

  • Use air fryer parchment liners or spray the basket lightly to prevent sticking.

  • Try variations like caramel apple centers, pecan coating, or pumpkin filling for seasonal twists.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3 days or freeze up to 1 month.
